Terms & Conditions
Programme Commitment
The Foundation Programme is a year-long creative learning journey designed to be experienced as a continuous programme. Each season builds upon the previous one, allowing children to develop their creative confidence over time.
By enrolling, families are committing to the Foundation Programme for the full academic year, across all three terms.
Fees & Payment
Programme fees are AED 2,800 per term, payable in three termly instalments over the course of the academic year. All specialist materials are included.
Places are intentionally limited to 16 children per cohort and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. A child’s enrolment in the Foundation Programme is confirmed upon receipt of the first term’s payment.
Subsequent instalments are payable prior to the start of each term. If payment is not received by the stated deadline, The Making Mind reserves the right to offer the place to another family.
Cancellation & Refunds
Places in the Foundation Programme are intentionally limited to ensure a small and engaged studio community.
Once enrolment has been confirmed, programme fees are non-refundable.
If your child is unable to attend an individual session, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds, credits or replacement sessions.
If exceptional circumstances arise that affect your child's participation, please contact us directly. While we cannot guarantee an alternative arrangement, we will always consider each situation with care.
Attendance
The Foundation Programme is designed as a connected learning journey, with each session building upon previous experiences.
If your child is unable to attend a session, please let us know as soon as possible.
Although missed sessions cannot be refunded or rescheduled, children are always encouraged to return the following week with confidence and curiosity.
Health & Wellbeing
Parents and guardians are responsible for informing The Making Mind of any medical conditions, allergies or additional support needs that may affect their child's participation.
This information will be treated confidentially and used solely to support your child's wellbeing and learning experience.
Photography & Media
From time to time, photographs and video may be taken during studio sessions to document children's creative journeys and share moments from the programme.
No images will be used without the permissions provided during registration.
Parents may update their consent preferences at any time by contacting The Making Mind.
Collection
Children may only be collected by a parent, guardian or another authorised adult identified during registration.
If collection arrangements change, please let us know in advance whenever possible.
Respect for the Studio
The Making Mind is built upon curiosity, respect and shared responsibility.
We ask all children and families to contribute to a positive studio environment by treating one another with kindness, respecting shared materials and supporting a culture where every child feels safe to explore, experiment and learn.
Programme Changes
While every effort will be made to deliver the programme as described, The Making Mind reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to projects, materials, scheduling or facilitators where necessary to support the learning experience.
Should any significant changes arise, families will be informed as soon as possible.
